NAGARKOT, Sept 28: Cancer Care Research Centre has won the Republica Changa Chait, a kite-flying competition organized by Nepal Republic Media at Nagarkot in Bhaktapur on Saturday.
Saroj Basnet and Kajal Khadka took part on behalf of the Cancer Care during the competition.
Likewise, Sun and Fun Holidays emerged second winner. Tusar Panta and Alok Neupane took part on behalf of Sun and Fun Holidays.

Khempelung Adventures lined up in the third. Amit Pradhan took part on behalf of Khempelung. Meanwhile, Club Himalaya defeated Nepal Republic Media during their friendly competition.
A total of 14 teams participated in the kite-flying competition. Sun and Fun Holidays, Maw Morang, Siddhartha Bank, NCC Bank, Ghorahi Cement, Khempelung Adventures, Honda Hilltake, Cancer Care Research Centre, Morang Auto Works, Panchakanya Group, Jwalakhel Group of Companies, BMW, CG group and Mercantile were in the fray.
Director of Nepal Republic Media Shova Gyawali and Sales Director of Club Himalaya Pramita Shakya Shrestha distributed prizes to the winners later on Saturday. On the occassion, Editor of Nagarik Daily Gunaraj Luitel delivered the concluding remarks.
As part of the event, various musical performances were held following the kite-flying competition at Nagarkot.
Earlier today, Province 3 Governor Anuradha Koirala inaugurated the kite-flying event at Club Himalaya, Nagarkot amid the presence of politicians, sportsmen, artists and among others.
