KATHMANDU, Feb 15: The CAN Info-tech 2020 (the Federation of Computer Association of Nepal) – a mega event of Nepal's information and communication technology sector has started from Friday.
This is the 26th edition of the technology exhibition organized by the CAN federation at the Bhrikuti Mandap exhibition hall with an objective to promote use of information and communication technology in the country.
42,826 visit CAN InfoTech on day two
The event was inaugurated by Gokul Baskota, Minister for Communication and Information Technology. The use of robots and drones in the lighting ceremony was the main attraction of the inauguration.
The event is being held from February 14 to 19 and features 184 stalls related to IT products and services. According to CAN officials, more than 400,000 visitors are expected to attend the event this year.
Prabhu Pay Mobile Wallet is the title sponsor of the event whereas WorldLink Communication is the associate sponsor and Prabhu Insurance is the official insurance partner of the 'Prabhu Pay CAN Info-Tech 2020'.
