The Association had also filed a case against the two Maoist cadres involvement in assaulting Professor Bartaula.

The Association has alleged that the Maoist cadres obstructed the sit-in.

However, Chitwan Vice-Chair of YCL, Keshav has said that a minor incident has been politicized.

Bartaula, who is the Chair of the Association, was attacked at Khairhani of Chitwan on September 20.
