The Free Students´ Union have padlocked the Campus Administration Office and the Chief´s Office for the past two weeks, demanding that part-time lecturers´ appointment be canceled as he appointed them recklessly or without necessary process. The Union asked to re-appoint the part-time lecturers only after the necessary process.
The assailants attacked the campus chief on Monday morning and kept him under their control for about four hours in the campus from 8 a.m. The students have been demanding that he resign or address their demands.
Shah said some representatives of FSU thrashed him including Lecturer Ram Ashish Yadav.
Shah was released in the presence of right activists and police. He is undergoing treatment at Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital, Rajbiraj.
