Parliament sets calendar to pass bills on education, civil service, constitutional council

KATHMANDU, Aug 29: A calendar has been set for the House of Representatives (HoR) to meet for four days following Friday’s session. The schedule was finalized in a meeting between Speaker Devraj Ghimire and the chief whips of the five major parties, with sessions set for September 3 and 10-12.



The agenda of the calendar includes discussion and passage of a Land Bill, tabling the National Assembly’s message regarding the Nepal Citizenship (Second Amendment) Bill, and passing the School Education Bill, the Civil Service Bill, and the Constitutional Council Bill.
