The meeting is expected to make decisions regarding the government’s response to the second wave of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
In recent days, Nepal along with its neighboring country, India is witnessing a sharp rise in the number of new COVID-19 cases.
Earlier, the COVID-19 Crisis Management Committee (CCMC) had recommended the government to stop the physical classes in schools and colleges and various other precautionary measures to contain possible spread of COVID-19.
