Cabinet expansion likely on Wednesday

KATHMANDU, Sept 1: Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal is likely to expand his 33-member cabinet on Wednesday, said Minister for Supplies Rajendra Mahato.



A source close to the prime minister also confirmed that preparations had been done accordingly. However, the prime minister was yet to decide on the number of the ministers to be included in the cabinet, the source told myrepublica.com.



Mahato said that he has forwarded the names of Laxman Lal Karna and Saroj Kumar Yadav for ministerial and state ministerial portfolios respectively from Sadbhawana Party.
