CA can't solve crisis: Matrika

By No Author
LAHAN, Sept 22: Maoist leader Matrika Prasad Yadav said on Tuesday that the Constituent Assembly (CA) cannot solve the current political crisis.

Yadav, who defected from the then CPN (Maoist) party, claimed that the CA cannot liberate the people from all sorts of oppression as anti-people elements are gaining weight in the CA and its members are involved in the game of forming and toppling governments.

He said he is making preparations to form a revolutionary party and it would take some time to ready such a party. Yadav also said the special security plan has been implemented not to improve security but to gag the people. The government is protecting criminals on one hand and making propaganda to the effect that it is providing security to people on the other. He said he would not launch any armed struggle, but if the government oppresses the struggle, he would launch any type of struggle.

Yadav was speaking to journalists after a central committee meeting of his party, CPN (Maoist). Yadav said his party is doing homework for a working unity with the Tarai armed groups. According to him, his party has contacted four such groups so far.
