Speaking on the occasion, Sambhu Prasad Dahal, chief executive officer of the company, assured the customers of expanded and efficient services, a statement issued by the bank said. It added that Tata Hitachi equipments are produced using technology of Tata Motors and Hitachi, Japan.
For efficient service and customers´ benefit, Sipradi has set up dealers in various parts of the country. The company believed that Tata products will prove to be of greater importance for construction activities in the country.
NIBL branch in Krishnanagar
KATHMANDU, Jan 29: Nepal Investment Bank Limited (NIBL) has opened its 34th branch at Krishnanagar, Kapilvastu, on Thursday.
According to a press statement, Krishnanagar branch is linked to all other 33 branches of the bank through ABBS (Any Branch Banking Services).
Services provided by the branch include deposit and credit facility, foreign exchange, retail banking, import, export, letters of credit, guarantee and remittances.
The statement also added that the newly opened branch is in tune with the bank´s policy to expand its branch network in all major pockets of the country, both within and outside the Kathmandu Valley.
NIBL has also said that it plans to extend its access to rural areas as well as urban centers within the next two years.
Siddhartha Bank opens new branch
KATHMANDU, Jan 29: Siddhartha Bank Limited has opened a new branch in Nepalgunj.
The banks´s Director Bishwanath Shah inaugurated the new branch amid a function on Friday, according to a press statement. With the start of services from the new branch, the bank now has altogether 19 branches.
Moreover, the bank has announced that its total deposits have touched Rs 17.5 billion and investment jumped to Rs 16.64 billion as at the end of the second quarter of this fiscal year.
The bank has also said that it is planning to open the new branches in other parts of the country in the near future.
Laxmi Bank in Sukedhara
KATHMANDU, Jan 29: Laxmi Bank has started operation from its ninth branch in Sukedhara from Thursday. The branch will offer a full range of retail banking provided by the bank.
Laxmi Bank is one of the major players in collecting remittance from the Gulf and Malaysia. The bank currently has the paid-up capital of Rs 1.5 billion and asset base of Rs 20 billion. The annual general meeting of the bank has approved a bonus share of 5 percent to is shareholders, which will increase its paid-up capital to Rs 1.6 billion.
The bank operates with 22 branches across the country.
Siddhartha Dev Bank opens 11th branch
KATHMANDU, Jan 29: Siddhartha Development Bank opened its 11th branch in Bauddha, Kathmandu on Thursday.
Bank chairman Shekhar Aryal inaugurated the branch, according to a press statement issued by the bank. The bank has also installed Automated Teller Machine in the new branch.
Siddhartha Development Bank aspires to develop a different identity by giving its customers excellent services.
Speaking on the occasion, Aryal expressed commitment to increase the bank network to different corners of the nation, while providing excellent and new banking facilities to its customers.
