NIC foundation supports orphanage
KATHMANDU, Jan 27: NIC Foundation, a charity wing of NIC Bank, has donated Rs 50,000 to Bal Kalyan Griha, an orphanage based in Khandbari of Sankhuwasabha through Makalu-Trishakti Samuha (MATS).
Ashok Agrawal, member of the foundation, handed over the check to Santosh Chapagain, president of MATS, states a press release issued by the bank on Wednesday.
MATS is currently supporting 10 orphan children. Few months back, the foundation had supported a police officer of Khandbari who has been helping local orphan children in Sankhuwashava district.
The foundation has also been supporting in the field of girl child education, scholarship to differently-abled and orphan children besides supporting different orphanages and hospitals.
