During an interaction organized in Paris, HAN President Prasiddha B Pandey highlighted the importance of tourism in Nepal and private sector initiative on the eve of Nepal Tourism Year 2011. [break]
According to a press statement issued by HAN, ambassador Shrestha supported the idea and said various promotional measures will be taken to market Nepal as a tourism destination.
During the interaction other speakers were HAN´s first Vice President BK Shrestha, and Executive Members Dinesh Tuladhar and Chandra Prasad Rijal.
Pepsi´s road show
KATHMANDU, June 3: Pepsi is organizing road shows across Nepal. This is the first time Pepsi is holding events outside Kathmandu.
The shows are a combination of music, dance and interactive games. There are football related games for the consumers as well exciting branded giveaways such as t-shirts, clocks, player posters, keyrings and lots of free Pepsi. The road show team includes singer/artiste Nirnaya NSK, a dance troupe, two master of ceremonies and brand promoters.
The shows began on June 1.
The show is now moving toward the Tarai belt, starting with Narayanghat. The road show will move to Butwal, Bhairahawa, Hetauda, Itahari, Dharan and Biratnagar.
