According to a press statement issued by the company, IMS has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Everest Insurance to provide insurance service to the customers.
"The insurance will pay for any damage or physical hazard caused to the mobile," said the statement. However, the insurance facility will be provided only to genuine Samsung products with IMS hologram. Customers buying Galaxy S III and Note II from general stores will not get the insurance service. The company will provide the buyers with the insurance policy within a week. IMS will waive off insurance premium for a year, according to the statement.
