Bus plunges into Trishuli River, three die

DHADING, May 19: Three persons have died when a Kathmandu-bound passenger bus met with an accident in Dhading district on Sunday morning.

The accident occurred when the ill-fated bus skidded off the Prithvi Highway at Banchhetar of Gajuri rural municipality and plunged 200 meters into Trisuli River.

The bus was en route to Kathmandu from Jhapa. Police have intensified rescue operations.
