Pedestrian killed in road accident

BIRATNAGAR, July 7: A pedestrian died after being hit by an unidentified vehicle on the Koshi highway at Biratnagar-5 Wednesday night. 

Jit Bahadur Bhujel,45, of Khotang,  who was living in Biratnagar-4, was severely injured after being hit by the vehicle at around 10:00 pm last night. He died on the way to the hospital. 

A search has been initiated to find the vehicle and its driver who fled following the incident, Deputy Superintendent of Police at District Police Office, Morang Yogendra Singh Thapa said. RSS
