KATHMANDU, May 24: Board members of Nepal Tourism Board (NTB) have said that the board will plan its budget in such a way as to promote the revival of tourism in the country.
Speaking at a program on Monday, newly-appointed member of the board, Madan Acharya said that the NTB would prepare the budget after discussing and coordinating with all stakeholders. He also said that the budget would be prepared in such a way as to promote tourism hit hard by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Similarly, another newly appointed member of the board, Milan Devkota said that tourism has been slowly returning to normal of late.
The NTB organized the event to welcome its newly-appointed board members and the new working committee members of Nepal Association of Tour and Travel Agents (NATTA) and Village Tourism Promotion Forum (VITOF).
In the program organized at the board on Monday, NTB Chief Executive Officer Dr Dhananjay Regmi welcomed the newly-appointed members. Regmi said that the board was working hard to solve the problems of tourism after COVID-19 affected the sector.
Hikmat Singh Ayer, Senior Director of NTB, shared information about the major works done by the board so far to promote Nepal’s tourism.
