JANAKPURDHAM, Oct 7: Chief Minister of Province No. 2 Lalbabu Raut has said that budget implementation and operation of the public administration of the Province No. 2 was affected due to lack of cooperation from the federal government.

Addressing the special hour of the province assembly meeting on Sunday, Raut complained that the federal government has not sent the required number of the officials needed for the public administration despite the repeated calls for the same.

Saying that minimum of 5,000 officials was needed in the province, Raut said that the federal government has not sent the civil servants though it had promised to send 2,400 staffers in the Province No. 2.

The Chief Minister was of the opinion that there was no province police when violence and insecurity have increased in the province while the chief district officers have been neglecting the programmes, leaves, directions, and policies of the provincial government. He added that the provincial government was working to pass the province police bill. RSS
