KATHMANDU, Dec 9: The exhibition of paintings titled ‘Buddha - Shades of Enlightenment’ by Dhyan Passika, a renowned artist, starts today at Nepal Art Council, Babarmahal.
The event is set to be inaugurated jointly by Jeevan Bahadur Shahi, the Minister of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation and Ranjit Rae, the Indian ambassador to Nepal.
The artist has tried to bring different teachings and shades of enlightenment of Buddha on his canvas. The messages of Buddha bind entire South Asia into a single thread, particularly India and Nepal. He is the biggest messenger of peace the civilization has ever seen.
The artist was born in Bangalore, India and has exhibited his paintings all over India and abroad.
The exhibition will continue till December 15.
