Bronze medalist Palesha to be honored with a city tour tomorrow

KATHMANDU, Sep 3: Taekwondo player Palesha Goverdhan, who won a bronze medal in the K44 category at the Paris Paralympics, will be honored with a city tour on Wednesday.

KATHMANDU, Sep 3: Taekwondo player Palesha Goverdhan, who won a bronze medal in the K44 category at the Paris Paralympics, will be honored with a city tour on Wednesday.

The National Sports Council (NSC) has announced that Palesha, the first Nepali athlete to win a medal at the Olympics, and the Nepali team will be honored with a city tour. She is arriving in Kathmandu on Wednesday.


According to the NSC, the rally will start at 8 AM from Tribhuvan International Airport and will proceed through Gaushala, Baneshwor, Maitidevi, Dillibazar, Bagbazar, Bhadrakali, and will convene at the NSC complex in Tripureshwar.
