KATHMANDU, Sept 4: Taekwondo player Palesha Goverdhan, who won a bronze medal in the K44 category at the Paris Paralympics, has arrived in Kathmandu.

The National Sports Council (NSC) has announced that Palesha, the first Nepali athlete to win a medal at the Olympics, and the Nepali team will be honored with a city tour. 


The rally will start from Tribhuvan International Airport and will proceed through Gaushala, Baneshwor, Maitidevi, Dillibazar, Bagbazar, Bhadrakali and will convene at the NSC complex in Tripureshwor.
