KATHMANDU, Sept 16: Art and photography enthusiasts can now participate and show their skills in the Alfresco Open Art and Photography Exhibition cum Competition 2013. Announcing a call for application to the competition, the event is aimed especially at young school students.



The press release states that primary and secondary level school students are invited to participate in the event along with college students and professional photographers and artists.[break]



The event is being organized in association with The Image Park, and will include photography and digital paintings. The top three winners in each level (school and college) as well as three runners-up will be decided by a panel of judges.



“We will be exhibiting more than 300 paintings and around 200 photographs at Singh Art Gallery from September 26 for 10 days,” informs Shyam Krishna Shrestha, CEO of Alfresco Media and Events Management Pvt Ltd.



The last date for submission of paintings and photographs is September 22. The submissions should be dropped at the office of Alfresco Media, or you can call 9801045791, 9801045793 and 9841240341 for details.
