The success of boxer Deepak Maharjan in the ongoing 16th Asian Games had given the villagers a reason to celebrate.
"Deepak confirmed at least a bronze for the country in the Asiad. We are here to celebrate his success and to pray to Bhairab for his success in the semifinal clash against Indian boxer," said Nishchit Maharjan, advisor of Bosigaun Sports Club.

"The whole of Nepal is expecting a semifinal victory for Deepak. He is the only Nepali athlete to confirm a medal in the ongoing Asiad. He has made the country proud, and of course, our village too," said Sangha Ratna Maharjan, karate coach and cousin of Deepak Maharjan.
