Books on Tanka Prasad released<br/>Journalism award instituted

BHADRAPUR, Sept 29: Litterateurs Chudamani Regmi and Krishna Dharabasi launched ‘Tinchamke Tahar’ and ‘Biography of Tankanath Dai’ penned by Rajendra Kumar Sangraula amid a program at Anarmani of Jhapa.



Critique Bishnu Kumar Bhattarai and Komal Prasad Pokharel commented on the books.



At the same program, institution of an Tanka Prasad-Ramadevi journalism award was announced on the 84th birthday of Tanka Prasad Pathak and Ramadevi Pathak. Litterateur Tejraj Khatiwada said the annual award will carry a purse of Rs 200,000 and it is the award carrying the biggest amount in the journalism sector in the country.
