At the programme, Minister Shrestha said that the book has talked about different aspects of Nepal and attempts to identify Canada among the Nepalis.

Nepali Congress leader Dr Narayan Khadka and former ambassador Mohan Prasad Lohani said though Canada was diverse as Nepal in terms of indigenous and ethnicity, they focused on development. So, Nepalis can learn about harmony, cooperation and national unity from the Canadians, they added.

Writer Shrestha said although there were only four provinces in Canada in the initial phase of federalism, the number reached 10 later.

Association Chairman Keshav Kunwar said the book was very useful because it has talked about political relations, cooperation, trade, investment, tourism and others between Nepal and Canada. It would also help strengthen bilateral relation.
