Bogati carded two-over 69 at the Royal Nepal Golf Club (RNGC) course on the final day of the championship for a total of four-over 205. He had carded two-over 69 on Saturday and even-par 67 on Sunday during the championship played on 54 holes under stroke play scratch handicap format.[break]
Bogati is a product of Surya Nepal NGA Youth Golf Program, which aims to prepare golfers for the 2014 Asian Games. Bogati took a turn with five-over 38 but improved the score on back nine with a three-over 31 on Monday.
Bikash Adhikari finished the championship as the runner-up with total of five-over 206. Bishnu Sharma claimed the second runner-up trophy as he remained behind Adhikari on count back.
Adhikari submitted cards of three-over 70 on the first two day and produced the best card with one-under 66.
Sharma had to satisfy with the second runner up trophy as he missed a foot putt for bogey on the last hole. Had he not missed the putt for bogey, he would have tied with the winner Bogati and the title would have been decided through a play-off. However, he shot double bogey on the last hole to remain on the third position. Sharma, who had carded three-over 70 on Saturday, one-over 68 on Sunday, carded one-over 68 on Monday.
Nepal Golf Association (NGA) President Madhukar Yakthumba and RNGC President Prachanda Bahadur Shrestha handed over prizes to the winners.
Dinesh Prajapati remained on the fourth position with a total score of seven-over 208 and Tashi Tsering finished the championship on the fifth position with a total score of 17-over 218.
Altogether 24 amateur golfers had participated in the tournament.
