KATHMANDU, Nov 4: The body of one more Nepali student killed in Israel in the October 7 attack by Hamas has been brought to Nepal on Saturday. Ten Nepali students were killed in the attack.
The body of Prabesh Bhandari of Sarada-3 in Salyan district was brought from Fly Dubai aircraft, said Joint-Secretary at the Foreign Ministry, Sharad Raj Aran.
Similarly, the body of Padam Thapa of Lamikhal-8 in Doti district will arrive by late night on Saturday, he added.
Body of one more Nepali student brought from Israel
According to the Foreign Ministry, ten Nepali students were killed in the attack by Hamas in Israel on October 7 and the bodies of nine students have been brought back so far.
The Nepali students had gone to Israel from Sudurpaschim University under the 'Learn and Earn' programme in the agriculture sector launched by the Israeli government.
After the attack by Hamas in Israel, a team comprising Foreign Minister Narayan Prakash Saud had rescued 254 students from Israel and brought them home.
