The Nepal Red Cross Society-run Center which earlier used to collect some 200 units of blood and supplied the similar quantity to the service-seekers is following its regular course despite the repercussions of the India's border blockage.
"The Center has been able to run smooth as in the normal times," shared Dr Prakash Yadav, Senior Medical Officer at the Centre.
The Center has been collecting blood from its 100 blood collection centers across 67 districts in the country and providing services to the public through its 1,300 branches across 75 districts, according to Dr Yadav.
Meanwhile, the Center is likely to shift to Balkumari in Lalitpur by mid-December as the existing building of the Center sustained damages during the April 25 earthquake. RSS
