WALING (SYANGJA), Sept 6 : A blood transfusion center has been established in Waling of Syangja district. The blood transfusion center has been established at Grahau Basic Hospital with a purpose to ensure blood supply to the needy ones and safeguard their lives.
With the beginning of the blood transfusion center in Waling, treatments at the dialysis center, while maternity service and emergency health care services are expected to be easy and accessible.
Are blood transfusions to patients in Nepal safe?
The locals from Waling, Bhirkot, Chapakot, Galayang and Kaligandaki in Syangja and the people from the southern belt in Parbat are expected to benefit from the blood transfusion center.
Mayor of Waling Municipality, Krishna Khand stated that the center was brought into operation in coordination with Nepal Red Cross Society, Syangja chapter.
Nepal Red Cross Society will manage the blood transfusion center while the municipality and the hospital administration will carry out other tasks, according to president of Nepal Red Cross Society, Syangja chapter, Dinesh Aryal.
