BK submitted a card of 77 at the par-67 Royal Nepal Golf Course (RNGC), Kathmandu to claim the overall trophy and the U-16 boys´ individual title of the tournament played under stroke-play format. [break]
Arun Tamang, also from Pokhara, scored 81 to become the runner-up in U-16 boys´ category while Yubaraj Bhujel from Dharan remained on the third position with a score of 82.
Sange Ongdi Lama submitted a card of 85 to become the individual winner of girls section while Sonam Ongdi Lama (86) and Pratima Sherpa (88) finished on the second and third positions. In U-20 boys´ section, Ram Baniya of Pokhara carded 80 and became the individual winner. Shivaram Majhi from Dharan carded 81 and Sandesh Khanal of Kathmandu scored 82 to finish on the second and third position of the U-20 boys´ section.
Meanwhile, Pokhara won the team title in boys´ section with a total score of 238. The Pokhara team included Ajit BK, Arun Tamang, Ram Baniya and Sonam Bhujel. Team of Tribhuvan Army Officers Golf club, which included Raj Kumar Lama, Nirab Koirala and Prithvi Malla, claimed runner-up trophy with a total score of 252.
Nepal Golf Association (NGA) President Madhukar Yakthumba, NGA General Secretary Tashi Ghale, Gaekwad Foundation President Pyar Jung Thapa and RNGC lady captain Pawitra Yakthumba and RNGC head pro Deepak Thapa Magar gave away the awards and prizes to the winners.
