Bista gets support

KATHMANDU, April 12: The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) on Monday handed a cash assistance of Rs 250,000 to ailing former national football player Ranjan Bista for his treatment. Bista has been suffering from cancer.



Of the sum, Rs 150,000, equivalent to ten percent of the gate money from the second leg of the ongoing Martyrs Memorial A Division League Football, and additional Rs 100,000 has been provided from ANFA´s players welfare fund. [break]



ANFA CEO Indraman Tuladhar and Vice-president Lalit Krishna Shrestha handed over the money to Bista at his residence in Dhapakhel.
