DAMAK, Feb 5: Venting their ire against doctors for allegedly causing the death of their 2-year-old son, family members on Monday vandalized Birta City Hospital, Birtamod.

The family members claim that they had to lose their young child owing to the negligence of doctors during his treatment. Umanga Rajbanshi of Charali had admitted his two-year-old son Jenish to the hospital as he was suffering from diarrhea. The child was admitted to the hospital at around 7 pm on Sunday after which a nurse gave him an injection. The parents claim that their son died after the injection.

Police had to open tear gas shells in order to take the situation under control. An investigation committee has been formed including the family member of the deceased to find the exact reason behind the death of the infant.
