BIRATNAGAR, Aug 26: Biratnagar Metropolitan City witnessed two more COVID-19 related deaths on Tuesday.
A 60-year old man from Mahottari and a 44-year old woman from Biratnagar succumbed to novel coronavirus disease. Both the deceased breathed their last on Tuesday night while undergoing treatment.
The old man was undergoing treatment at Biratnagar-based Neuro Cardio & Multi Speciality Hospital. After witnessing COVID-19 symptoms, he had undergone COVID-19 test, which showed him infected with the virus.
Likewise, the woman was undergoing treatment at Birat Medical College Teaching Hospital. She was treated with the ventilator support. Her swab samples tested positive for COVID-19 at Koshi Hospital.
