Bira 91 beer comes to Nepal

KATHMANDU, July 6: B9 Beverages, an Indian beer manufacturer, has announced its entry into the Nepali market by launching its three beer variants.

Issuing a statement on Thursday, B9 Beverages said that it was launching Bira 91 White, Bira 91 Blonde and Bira 91 Strong in Nepali in partnership with Global Trading Concern Pvt Ltd. According to the statement, all variants will be available in 330 ml bottles and cost Rs 300 per bottle.


“Crafted with the creative urban drinker in mind, Bira 91 aspires to bring flavorful beers to the new world. We aspire to drive that global shift in beer toward more flavor, and Nepal is a thrilling addition to our expansion,” the statement quoted Anshul Agarwal, Export Director at B9 Beverages, as saying. Established in 2015, Bira Beverages also plans to distribute its products in the United Kingdom, Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand and the UAE following the success of the brand in India and the US.
