Bir Hospital nurse found dead in doctor’s room in Balaju

KATHMANDU, April 30: A nurse employed at Bir Hospital in Kathmandu has been found dead in mysterious circumstances in Balaju, Kathmandu.

SP Sitaram Rijal, the spokesperson for the Kathmandu Police Range, said Anuma Shrestha, 34, a resident of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-1, was found dead in the room of Dr Sujan Dhakal.

Dr Dhakal works at a private hospital in Kathmandu.

Police also recovered a suicide note from the room where Shrestha was found hanging.

Further investigation is currently underway.
