KATHMANDU, March 11: Emerging player Bipana Blon has won the PRC Open Squash Tournament winning all her five matches as she saw off Ashmita Nagarkoti in straight sets of 3-0 in Kathmandu on Tuesday.
In her bid to win the fifth consecutive match, Blon beat the bottom-placed Nagarkoti 11-2, 11-5, 11-3 to secure the gold medal.

In her other matches, Bipana overcame Bhawana Sunuwar and Sapana Blon in 3-0 straight sets of 11-1, 11-7, 11-4 each.
Also, Swasthani Shrestha completed her last match beating Sapana 3-0 as she finished fourth with the score of 11-3, 11-3, 11-4.
Similarly, Arhant Keshar Simha and Amrit Thapa Magar reached the final of the men’s category.
Simha beat British Army’s Chris O’Brien in 3-0 straight sets of 11-4, 11-5, 11-9, while Magar saw off Nick McGrath 3-1 with 11-7, 11-8, 11-13, 11-6.
In the master’s open, Rajendra Shakya overcame Great Britain’s Steve Franches in straight sets of 11-9, 11-3, 11-8, while Sudeep Bahadur Singh got past Prajwal Pradhan 11-6, 5-11, 11-7, 11-3.
