Binod XI win selection matches

KATHMANDU, Oct 13: Binod Das XI won the two practice matches played for the selection of senior national cricket team to participate in the ACC T-20 Elite Cup on Tuesday. Cricket Association of Nepal called 23 players for an initial training camp and divided the players into Binod Das IX and Paras Khadka IX for the practice matches.



In the first match of the day, Paras IX elected to bat first and compiled 91 runs at the loss of eight wickets in limited 20 overs. In reply, Binod IX successfully met the target in 14.4 overs losing just one wicket. Dipendra Chaudhary scored 51 runs in 41 balls.



In the second match, Binod IX batted first and scored 75 runs losing 9 wickets. Paras IX were all out in 18.4 overs with the total score of 67 runs. Captain Das and Basanta Regmi, both took 3 wickets each for the winning team.
