Biman aircraft takes u-turn from TIA after flap dysfunction

KATHMANDU, Jan 11: A Kathmandu-bound Biman Bangladesh Airlines aircraft returned to Dhaka before landing at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) on Sunday after the flight crew realized that the aircraft had a wing flap dysfunction, an airport official said.



The 703 F28 aircraft took a u-turn while still in the air at 2:30 p.m. and returned to Dhaka without landing at TIA, the airport official said requesting anonymity.
