Bigwigs discuss implementing agreement with Madhes parties

KATHMANDU, Aug 6: The top reigning leaders of the two ruling coalition partners – Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN (Maoist Centre) – today held talks on the prospects of implementing the three-point understanding reached with the agitating Tarai-Madhes-centric parties.

KATHMANDU, Aug 6: The top reigning leaders of the two ruling coalition partners – Nepali Congress (NC) and CPN (Maoist Centre) – today held talks on the prospects of implementing the three-point understanding reached with the agitating Tarai-Madhes-centric parties.



CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman and Prime Minister, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, called on NC President Sher Bahadur Deuba at latter's residence, according to information provided to the RSS by Deuba's Personal Secretary, Bhanu Deuba. "They held talks on latest political scenario, cabinet expansion, constitution's implementation and three-point agreement reached with Madhes-centric parties," Personal Secretary Deuba shared.



The meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Friday took various decisions on implementing the three-point agreement between the agitating Madhes-based parties and the two ruling partners. RSS
