KATHMANDU, Jan 21:The talks between the top leaders of the three major parties and the United Democratic Madhesi Front (UDMF) held at the prime minister's official residence on Thursday has ended withtout reaching any deals.
The meeting made no headway after the UDMF stuck to its guns demanding that all the issues including the constitution amendment bill should be resolved 'in a package', said Madhesi People's Rights Forum Chairman and Deputy Prime Minister Bijaya Kumar Gachchhadar.

Chairman Gachchhadar reiterated that the government is serious on resolving the Madhes issues through dialogue.
Emerging from the meeting, Federal Socialist Forum Nepal Chairman Upendra Yadav said the current government cannot revise the amendment bill and even if it is endorsed, it will not accommodate the Madhes issues.
The top leaders from the three major parties and Upendra Yadav, Hridayesh Tripathi, Laxman Lal Karna and Sharbendra Nath Sukla representing the UDMF took part in the meeting.
At a meeting held in Baluwatar on Wednesday, major political parties had agreed to revise the constitution amendment bill, which is under discussion in parliament, to accommodate the voices of the agitating political parties.
Prior to endorsing the amendment bill, the major political parties had decided to hold a dialogue with the agitating parties at the top guns-level this morning.
