KATHMANDU, Oct 1: Bibeksheel Sajha Party has scrapped the controversial document ‘Nation above notion’, propounded by its former leader Rabindra Mishra. The development comes shortly after Mishra resigned from the Bibeksheel Sajha Party and joined Rastriya Prajatantra Party.

A meeting of the party’s Central Committee held on Friday decided to scrap the document after concluding that this had courted intense political disagreement within the party. The meeting also concluded that it was counterproductive to the optimistic political mission of the party building and public service delivery.

After publishing the document, the meeting decided to immediately communicate with the leaders of the central and other committees of the party who disagree with the idea and proceed to solve all kinds of problems.

The meeting also decided to seek clarification from leaders who are found involved in activities that are detrimental to the interests of the party. The meeting also decided to take necessary action if their clarification was not convincing.

The meeting has appealed to all the leaders and members of the party who had resigned in the past due to ideological disagreement within the party or remained inactive due to dissatisfaction to return to the party and carry out their activities as before.
