KATHMANDU, March 25: Bhutan has expressed willingness to host the 16th SAARC Summit after the Maldives, which was supposed to organize the annual meet, expressed its inability to host it. According to Kantipur, Bhutanese government recently sent a letter to the SAARC Secretariat expressing its interest to host the meeting for the first time. Bhutan is the only country, apart of new entrant Afghanistan which has never hosted the regional meeting.
