Bhenauli schools closed demanding security

DADELDHURA, Jan 22: Guardian shut down schools at Bhenauli VDC of Baitadi district for an indefinite period from Tuesday demanding security of their children. A bomb was recovered at Rastriya Higher Secondary School, Bhenauli VDC on Sunday.



The government has failed to ensure security to schools despite declaring it peace zone, the guardian said. [break]



“We will not send our children to schools until the government ensures security,” Prakash Bhat, a guardian said.



There are seven schools in Bhenauli VDC.
