Bharatpur Election Update

CHITWAN, May 24: As CPN (Maoist Center) won the ward number 13 of the Bharatpur Municipality, mayor candidate from the party, Renu Dahal, has cut the vote margin short with CPN-UML mayoral candidate Devi Gyawali.

CHITWAN, May 24: As CPN (Maoist Center) won the ward number 13 of the Bharatpur Municipality, mayor candidate from the party, Renu Dahal, has cut the vote margin short with CPN-UML mayoral candidate Devi Gyawali.

After the completion of vote count of ward number 13, Gyawali has received 27175 votes so far while Dahal garnered 23864. The vote difference between the two candidates is at 3311 now. It was at 3836 earlier.


In the contest for deputy-mayor, Nepali Congress candidate Parbati Shah has received 27053 votes while UML's Divya Sharma Acharya got 24493 votes so far.
