CHITWAN, June 17: Bharda and Rupasi are among the two pairs of rhinoceros that the government is sending to the Government of People's Republic of China as gifts.
The pair Bhadra (male) and Rupasi (female) has been kept separately--Bhadra at Khoriyamuhan of CNP while Rupasi at Boma (enclosure) set up on the premises of National Trust for Nature Conservation, according to CNP chief conservation officer, Bed Kumar Nepal.

A team from China is arriving by June 29 to receive the gifts. Earlier, the government decided to present two pairs of rhinoceros to China. The next pair chosen for the gift is yet to be named.
Preparations are going on to send them to China in the third week of July.
Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli had promised to gift two pairs of rhinos to China when he was the prime minister two years ago. RSS
