MYAGDI, Nov 20: The Beni-Jomsom road stretch linking Mustang via northern belt of Myagdi district is closing eight hours a day.
The Beni-Jomsom-Korala road project under the National Pride Kaligandaki Corridor connecting India and China has enforced a time table for vehicular operation from Beni to Lete.
Butwal-Palpa road to remain closed for eight hours a day
A meeting of the transport management committee held at the Myagdi District Administration Office has developed a time table for road up-gradation.
According to Chief District Officer Leeladhar Adhikari, the road up-gradation works will be carried out from 7.30 am to 11.30 am and from 2.30 pm to 6.30 pm every day so the vehicular operations are anot allowed during the time.
Project’s engineer Jagat Prajapati said that over 70 per cent of road up-gradation works have been completed on the Jomsom-Korala road. RSS
