KATHMANDU, Jan 7: A 29-member basketball team, including 12 men and 12 women players, is set to leave for Bangkok, Thailand on Friday to prepare for the 12th South Asian Games.

The team will spend nearly a month training in Thailand and will directly fly to India to take part in the event. Dinesh Chandra Nakarmi is the head coach, Biku Maharjan the assistant coach and Binod Shrestha the manager of the team.
