Bara highway declared prohibited area

BIRGUNJ, April 30: The District Administration Office (DAO), Bara, declared the highway passing through the district as a restricted zone. Issuing a notice at 4 p.m. on Thursday, the DAO stated the highway from Parwanipur in the south to Dharan in the north, with Pathliya at the center, will be restricted for organizing any protest and demonstration. The decision was taken to facilitate movement of transport vehicles which has been affected due to the general strike of the Tharuhat Joint Struggle Committee since last Wednesday.
