Baidya calls for scraping of 11-point deal

KATHMANDU, April 14: Chairman of CPN-Maoist Mohan Baidya has said that the nation would not get an outlet from the existing problems until and unless the March 14 eleven-point agreement reached among the four political forces and the subsequent 25-point order on removing constitutional difficulties were scrapped.



Addressing a programme organised by the Customary Ayurved health professionals´ Association in the capital on Sunday, the CPN-Maoist Chief stressed the need of seeking a way out to the nation through all-party meet or roundtable conference.[break]



Although our party was in favour of the completion of peace process and constitution-drafting, it would not go ahead taking the people into confidence if the old method was applied to resolve the problems, he added.



He stressed the need of developing herb products processing technology inside the country and promoting customary healing practices with the application of scientific method.



Association Chairman Ganesh Bahadur Raut stressed that the state should promote customary Ayurved.



On the occasion, "Ayurved ", a bulletin published by the Association was released.
