Bagmati Province govt presenting policies and programs today

KATHMANDU, May 27: The Bagmati Province Government is going to present its policies and programs for the next fiscal year 2024/25 in the province assembly meeting today.

Province Chief Yadav Chandra Sharma will present the policies and programs in the province assembly at 3 PM.

In the previous provincial assembly meeting, Jagannath Thapaliya, the minister for economic affairs and planning of Bagmati government, tabled it in the provincial assembly.

Similarly, the principles and priorities of the policies and programs for the upcoming fiscal year were passed after discussion. Agriculture, tourism, education and employment promotion are prioritized in the policies and programs to be presented today.

Shalikram Jamkattel, the chief minister of Bagmati Province, said that the policies and programs are made attaching the highest priority to agriculture, tourism, education and employment, which form the backbone of the overall development and economy of the province.

He said that the government is ready to decide the investment model and proceed by creating an investment board.

The province is ready to prepare new programs and move forward, according to the policies and programs of the provincial government.
