KATHMANDU, Aug 17: Bagmati Province Chief Minister Indra Bahadur Baniya has resigned from his post.

Baniya announced his resignation while addressing the provincial assembly meeting on Monday.
Before announcing his resignation, Baniya presented a 28-point progress report highlighting the major works carried out by his government during his one-year tenure.
