MANANG, March 5: An avalanche occurred at Dhukurpokhari of Ngisyang Rural Municipality in the district, causing inconvenience to people's movement.
The connectivity to upper and lower Manang has been difficult with the avalanche.

"The arrival of tourists has begun here, but the avalanche has increased risks," said Dhak Bahadur Bhujel, district chief of Annapurna Conservation Area Project. Some 50 to 60 tourists visit the area daily.
